This Florida city is the best place for a hot date

For lovers looking for the perfect romantic getaway, Florida is the best place to go. Three of its cities are in the top ten best cities for a date night in the U.S., and Sarasota, Florida, took the coveted top spot.

It took experts at BonusFinder ten factors, like the average price of a bottle of wine and a romantic dinner for two, to rank and score 160 cities across the country to find the best places for a date night in the U.S.

They also looked at how many romantic restaurants, cafes, dessert shops, bars, fun date night activities and games, couple-friendly sites, and hotels and spas were in each city and then gave each one a score based on that.

Sarasota, Florida

Sarasota won, getting 87.7 out of a possible 100 points, which was more than any other city. Sarasota, which is known as “Circus City” because it was home to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circuses in the winter, got the best reviews for having so many romantic restaurants, cafes, spas, and other sites that are great for couples.

Sarasota is on the beautiful Gulf Coast and gets more than 250 days of sunshine a year. Couples can enjoy the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, a cruise along Sarasota Bay, or a wide range of other cultural sites because they have so much time to spend outside.

Lido Beach at the southern end of Longboat Key is known for its white sand beaches and is a romantic place to walk. For a sexy meal, go to Blu Kouzina restaurant for Mediterranean food, where starters like “skillet cheese” with creamy sheep’s milk cheese served in a hot iron pan and drizzled with fig sauce are served.

Dating in Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida got 71.7 out of 100 points, making it the sixth best place in the country for a date night. It did well because it has a lot of fun date night games and activities, as well as a lot of bars, bakeries, and dessert shops.

For the entertainment, Hotel Guru chose the W Fort Lauderdale as the best romantic hotel for two people. Three “decadent bathrooms” and five restaurants run by Stephen Starr, winner of the James Beard Award for Best Restaurateur. The Pillars is a colonial-style hotel on the Intercoastal Waterway that is perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are filled with antiques, and there are dinners on the dock and a garden pool.

Fort Lauderdale is often called the “Venice of America” because it has 165 miles of canals that wind through the city. Couples can take a romantic trip on a real gondola.
